Cassette players are now outdated in favour of C.D.s and D.V.D.s. and other |
advanced equipment. Soon replacement cassettes and players will be hard to obtain, so we have now fully converted to memory sticks. New mp3 players have been issued to all our listeners. |
The MP3 players have USB sockets and are able to play Memory Sticks or Thumb Drives. |
Our productions are made from files recorded on to our computer and the sticks are copied from our master stick. All the files are sectioned similar to CD tracks to enable listeners to “skip” or go back to repeat sections. |
The Memory Sticks are being distributed by post in pouches in the same manner as cassettes. |
All our productions are now on memory sticks. We are however, continuing our library service which is still on cassettes. |

The new system has been well received and is better quality than cassettes. |
